URGENT CARE VS. HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOMS

Urgent care centers treat aggravating cuts, bruises, aches and pains, and emergency rooms treat traumatic, life threatening, injury and illness. It’s that simple.

Urgent care centers are also great when you just need to walk in and see a doctor for routine tests, care, and prescriptions.

If you need stitches or have a rash, if your child suffered a sprain or you have a sore throat, an urgent care center can take care of you. However, if you are suffering severe chest pain, pregnancy related problems or are losing consciousness, you need to rush to your nearest emergency room.
