WHAT IS URGENT CARE?

It always happens at the worst time- a glass breaks in your hand when you are washing it. Your toddler falls and cuts his lip. Your daughter sprains her ankle just before her first important school dance. Most accidents happen in the home, and when they do you need urgent care.

AG Urgent Care Centers opened clinics in New York boroughs Brooklyn and Queens neighborhoods so that when you need fast care for your family we are nearby.

Our urgent care clinics care for you quickly, carefully and with an understanding of your busy life. If you cut yourself cooking, step on a rake while gardening, wake up with a rash or have an aggravating cough that won’t go away,

AG Urgent Care Centers are here to help.

Our clinicians have been working in emergency medicine for a long time and can treat your needs quickly and carefully so you can return home. Consider us a New York City emergency room with extremely short wait times!

AG Urgent Care Centers are here to take care of you. We are open nights and weekends when your doctor’s office is closed. Whether your child sprained their ankle at little league practice or you cut your hand on a fence, our pediatric and adult urgent care doctors and nurses will take care of you right away.

Fast NYC Health Care

When you arrive at AG Urgent Care, a receptionist will greet you quickly and ask you questions. They will tell the nurses what has happened to you and then, without waiting very long, a nurse and clinician will take care of you.

Now that there is URGENT CARE IN NYC, you can receive fast care close to home. You don’t have to seek urgent care in NYC or travel any distance. AG Urgent Care is nearby and will save you time and anxiety. We are here to help you and your family.

For immediate, fast, and comprehensive care, just walk in one of our urgent care clinics today!  You may also register online to expedite your wait time, or call us at 877-471-9091 with any questions.

If you are experiencing significant chest pain, rectal bleeding, or are losing consciousness, your condition may be life threatening and you should call 911.

URGENT CARE VS. HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOMS

Urgent care centers treat aggravating cuts, bruises, aches and pains, and emergency rooms treat traumatic, life threatening, injury and illness. It’s that simple.

Urgent care centers are also great when you just need to walk in and see a doctor for routine tests, care, and prescriptions.

If you need stitches or have a rash, if your child suffered a sprain or you have a sore throat, an urgent care center can take care of you. However, if you are suffering severe chest pain, pregnancy related problems or are losing consciousness, you need to rush to your nearest emergency room.

AG Urgent Care Centers treat illnesses and injury that can’t wait until the next day. If you cut yourself in the kitchen, you don’t want to wait for stitches! If you child sprains her arm at soccer practice you want to make sure it isn’t broken. You don’t want to wait for a clinician’s appointment at the end of the week. That’s what our urgent care centers are for – to make sure that minor illnesses and injuries are diagnosed and treated without long waits.

However, if you are in a car accident, suffer a heart attack or go into early labor, you must go to the emergency room. The ER is designed to treat traumatic injury and serious conditions that require a high level of emergency care including multiple types of diagnostic imaging such as CT scans and MRIs and lab tests.

Urgent care centers are designed to avoid long wait times. Because the conditions we treat don’t require extensive imaging and we don’t care for critically ill patients who arrive by ambulance, we can treat you when you arrive.
