What Is an I-693 Medical Exam?
An I-693 immigration medical exam is required by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for many visa and green card applications. Our Civil Surgeons have a special license and authority granted by USCIS to perform a full physical exam, review your medical history, test for certain conditions, and check your vaccination record. NOTE: If you received an immigration medical examination outside the United States and the results reveal a Class A medical condition, or if there is reason to believe you have acquired a Class A medical condition after admission or parole into the United States, you may need to complete a new immigration medical examination. You should review the Form I-693 Instructions to determine what information on Form I-693 you need to complete and submit to USCIS, if required.
